    Hi,

I could not replicate the issue using the latest build of D2H at my end. Please download the avi demonstrating the same from the following link:
    ftp://ftp.componentone.com/SupportFTP/Public/Samples/ThemeDesigner_Opening_Video.zip

Could you please share the version and build of DocTohelp along with the machine environment you are currently working with?

In addition to this, please download the latest build of DocTohelp from the following link and check if the issue still occurs on using the same as well:

    http://download.componentone.com/pub/HelpAuthoring/doctohelp2005/Updates/DocToHelp2014-1-Build925.exe

    Thanks and Regards,

    Hello Pragati,

After I posted, I did some digging around, and though it wasn’t explicitly stated, I noticed that upgrading IE seemed to help with lag times generally in Doc-to-Help. So, I upgraded my browser and all is well. By the way, I’m using DTH 2014 and am in a Win7 environment.

    Thanks again,
    Lori

Remove all sections and rebuilt until no error, then added pieces back one at time until it failed again. Nothing weird in the text to cause the error, so I accepted all review comments and tried again and it worked….

I know I have other source docs that have review comments still in the document and it doesn’t fail. Any clues?

The document works now, but I would like to know what could have caused it for future.

    Thanks,
    -brian

    Hi Brian,

Actually, it might be something that Word hides in section breaks. When I receive a customer’s project which produces similar error message, removing all section breaks in source documents usually cures the issue, particularly if document contains section breaks that were inserted with an older Word version.

    Best Regards,
