    Hello,

I am trying to create a context sensitive Online Help (HTML NetHelp 2.0).
I am using contextID numbers to navigate to a help chapter.

When being in a specific field, I want to open the NetHelp page with the correct contextID and navigate down to the bookmark.

First: is this the correct way to implement this feature. ?

    Second:
I have defined a Bookmark in my document and converted it to NetHelp 2.0.
This is the way I am trying to navigate:

    http://hub.igel.at/OnlineHilfe/index.html?topiconly=true#?id=110207200 (works)
    http://hub.igel.at/OnlineHilfe/index.html?topiconly=true#?id=110207200#Wartungsfirma (does not navigate down)

What am I doing wrong ?
Does DocToHelp fail creating the “Wartungsfirma” Bookmark which I am trying to navigate to ?
Is it impossible to use contextID and Bookmarks together ?

Do you have any idea how can I solve my problem ?

    Best Regards
    Gerhard

    Hi Gerhard,

there is a quite simple way to jump to a location inside a topic by context ids:
create a MidTopic in the topic instead of a bookmark, and assign a context id to that topic!

    Kind Regards,

    Hi Sabine,

I already tried out your Suggestion – it works, but:

We are ORACLE APEX developers. There is a number assigned to applications and pages, and this number we are using for calculating the contentID for Online Help for a web-page.

But for some fields on the web page we Need a more pecific context sensitive help.
But we have no number assigned to fields on the web page. If possible, we would like to use some text (like the Bookmark) to identify mid-page Paragraph we would like to jump to – directly.

Do you have any idea if/how we can do this.
Of Course, if it´s not possible, we will work with the contextID numbers …

Thank you for your quick Response,
    Gerhard
